Bid now on this autographed photo signed by former Blue Devil star Kyrie Irving. Irving was drafted No. 1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2011 NBA Draft. Irving was named the 2012 NBA Rookie of the Year after averaging 18.5 points and 5.4 assists per game, becoming only the sixth rookie in NBA history to average at least 18 points and five assists. Irving played in only 11 games in his Duke career after a toe injury caused him to miss 26 contests during his standout freshman season. He scored in double figures in all 11 of the contests he played in with three games of 20 or more and one 30-point game. Irving scored a career-high 31 points against Michigan State on Dec. 1, 2010. His 31 points marked just the fourth time a Duke freshman had scored 30 or more in a game. Irving started in his first career game against Princeton, becoming the fifth point guard to start under Mike Krzyzewski as a freshman. He set a freshman record for assists in a season opener with nine assists in the win over Princeton.
