CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Volleyball’s Jackie Servais has been selected to attend the Career in Sports Forum (CSF) hosted by the NCAA in Indianapolis June 5-8, 2014. Servais was one of 200 selections to attend the four-day event from the 1,100 NCAA member institutions.

The Career in Sports Forum is an annual educational forum hosted by the NCAA that brings together 200 selected student-athletes for four days to learn and explore potential careers in sports, with the primary focus on intercollegiate athletics. The CSF is designed to assist student-athletes in charting their career paths, to give them the opportunity to network and to learn from current athletics professionals.

Servais had to go through an extensive selection process answering various questions and requirements reviewed and scored by a selection committee. By attending the CSF, participants will engage in several different areas of career opportunities in collegiate athletics.

The NCAA will cover all expenses associated with attending the Career in Sports Forum including flights, hotel accommodations, meals and more.

A redshirt sophomore entering the upcoming 2014 season, Servais played in 56 sets a year ago with 94 digs. Servais would deliver at-least six digs in each of her first seven collegiate matches including a career-best 13 against UNC Asheville.
