Charlotte, N.C.- The 49ers look to continue its success going into the Conference USA after dominating the Atlantic 10.  Charlotte racked up 23 of the possible 32 indoor and outdoor championships during its seven year tenure.

Charlotte starts and finishes its indoor season in Birmingham, Ala. Jan 10-11, running in the UAB Blazer Invitational.  The 49ers will return to Birmingham Feb 28-March 1 for the Conference USA Indoor Championships.

The 49ers take the trip north to Blacksburg, Va. for back-to-back weekends, Jan. 17-18 and 24-25 for the Virginia Tech Invitational and Hokie Invitational.  The 49ers visit Blacksburg four times during the course of the indoor season participating in the Virginia Tech Challenge, Feb. 21-22, as well as the Virginia Tech Last Chance meet, Mar. 7-8.

Charlotte wraps up the month of January competing in two meets, Jan. 31-Feb. 1, in Winston-Salem, N.C. and Clemson, S.C., participating in the JDL Hilton Invitational and the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational.  The 49ers return to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the JDL UCS Invitational, Feb. 14-15.

Charlotte looks to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championship, Mar. 14-15, in Albuquerque, N.M. to wrap up the indoor season before jumping into the outdoor season the following week.

The Niners open its outdoor season hosting the 49er Classic, Mar. 20-22.  Charlotte wraps up the month of March in Raleigh, N.C. running in the Raleigh Relays, Mar. 28-29.

Charlotte shifts their focus to April participating in two meets the same weekend running in the Colonial and Florida Relays, Apr. 3-5 in Williamsburg, Va. and Gainesville, Fla. respectively.

The 49ers head across the state to Greenville, N.C. for the East Carolina Invitational, Apr. 11-12 before heading home to host the Charlotte Invitational, Apr. 18-19.

The Niners take a couple weeks off from competition before heading to Charlottesville, Va. on May 10 for the Virginia Challenge and the NC A&T Aggie Invitational on May 11.

The Conference USA Outdoor Championships will be held in Houston, Texas, hosted by Rice University, May 15-18.

Charlotte looks to wrap up their 2014 outdoor season at the NCAA East Preliminary hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla., May 29-31 as well as the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., June 11-14.

Athletes that qualify for the USATF Junior Championships will compete July 5-6 in Eugene, Ore., following the USATF Championships June 25-29.
