Dan DeZordo joined the 49ers staff in the middle of the semester in the fall of 2013 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Event Operations. He will be seen at numerous athletic events in aid of the game operations staff, as well as assist the department in maintaining facilities and helping to schedule usage of all of the athletic venues on campus.
After his undergraduate career as a football and track athlete at Marietta college, DeZordo taught math at Southern High School in Racine, Ohio, where he also coached volleyball, basketball and track.
He moved to North Carolina and started taking classes in 2011 towards a Masters at Ohio University while teaching at Burlington Day School. He was a math teacher and the Athletic Director at the school. He earned that Masters in 2013 before joining the 49ers in the fall.
He earned his BS in Math at Marietta in 2008.
DeZordo is single and lives in Huntersville.
