49ers 4-4 Record includes 1-2 mark vs. FCS nationally-ranked teams

Charlotte is 1-2 in road games with two road games remaining.

Freshman Kalif Phillips scored both 49ers touchdowns to give him a team-high 7 touchdowns, this season

Charlotte’s first TD came on a 5-play, 65-yard drive of 1:19.  It is the 49ers 12th TD drive of 1:30 or less.

Charlotte trailed by nine points, 23-14, with seven minutes to play but CSU converted two late turnovers into touchdowns to pull away.

Charlotte won the turnover battle, 3-2, but  CSU scored 14 points off the two turnovers while Charlotte scored none.

CSU’s 548 yards of total offense are the most the 49ers have allowed this season.

CSU’s 375 yards rushing are the most the 49ers have allowed this season, including an individual high of 181 by Christian Reyes

Trent Bostick made four catches for 114 yards, his high this season.  It is the third straight week a 49er had 100+ rec. yds.

Austin Duke had a 22-yard punt return – the longest for the 49ers this season.

LBs Nico Alcalde and Mark Hogan led the 49ers with 8 tackles.  That was the first game that Alcalde led the 49ers in tackles and the second time for Hogan.

Alcalde added 3 TFL (matching 49ers season-high), 1 FF and 1 fumble recovery

LB Tyler Destefani made his debut following preseason surgery on a torn tendon in his finger and made 3 tackles.

DE Mark Pettit recorded the 49ers lone sack among Charlotte’s 8 tackles for loss
