Tara came to Charlotte in the fall of 2013 to work with the 49ers Track and Field program after working the past two years with the MEAC men’s basketball champions at North Carolina A&T University. After earning her undergrad degree from Bryan College in 2006, Tara later graduated from Western Michigan University in 2008 with her Master’s in Exercise and Sports Medicine with an emphasis in sports management. While at WMU, she also received her certification in strength and conditioning.
Originally from Indiana, Tara and her husband, Clint came to North Carolina in 2010 in order for him to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Together, they have a dog named Kona and enjoy spending time together in North Carolina’s diverse outdoor activities, such as camping in the mountains, relaxing on the beaches, and walking the greenways.
