Charlotte, NC – Forrest Edwards, Jordi Massalle Ferrer and Francis Pare won their respective singles matches on day two of the 49ers Invitational at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.

In Flight Two Singles, Edwards defeated Campbell’s Steve Billington, 6-1, 6-4.

In Flight Four Singles, Massalle Ferrer defeated Campbell’s Rik van Gerwen, 7-5, 6-1.

In Flight Seven Singles, Pare defeated Campbell’s James Mones, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

In Flight One Singles, Charlotte’s Jack Williams lost to Campbell’s Fernando Guillen, 6-1, 6-4.

In Flight Three Singles, Charlotte’s Alex Calott lost to Campbell’s M.C. Visser, 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-3.

In Flight Five Singles, Charlotte’s Paul Cisti lost to Campbell’s Jean-Marc Krone, 6-1, 7-6 (7).

In Flight Six Singles, Charlotte’s Nate Shanok lost to Campbell’s Adrien Rossignon, 5-7, 6-3, 6-3.

In Flight Eight Singles, Charlotte’s Alex Weber lost to Campbell’s Dominik Kaniewski, 7-6 (5), 6-3.

In Flight Nine Singles, Charlotte’s Carl Solik lost to Campbell’s Landon Rogers, 6-4, 6-4.

In Flight One Doubles, Edwards and Williams defeated Campbell’s Billington and Kaniewski by default.

In Flight Two Doubles, Charlotte’s Cisti and Pare lost to Campbell’s Visser and Krone, 8-3.

In Flight Three Doubles, Charlotte’s Massalle Ferrer and Weber lost to Campbell’s Guillen and Rossignon, 8-4.

The 49ers Invitational concludes on Sunday, September 29. Matches begin at 9 am.
