CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women’s soccer program spent time this week at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte with families that are currently staying there. Families at the home are from outside Mecklenburg County, while their children receive treatment from Levine Hospital or Hemby Children’s Hospital.

The 49ers baked and decorated cupcakes and participated in the house’s monthly unbirthday party. The unbirthday party is held to recognize and celebrate anyone living in the house that may have had a birthday that month and consists of bingo games, arts and crafts.

For Friday night’s game against College of Charleston, the women’s soccer program will be hosting Ronald McDonald House night. Volunteers from the house will be on-hand at the game to take monetary donations.
