CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Weather continues to be the toughest opponent for the Charlotte 49ers women's tennis team, as it has forced a postponement of the Niners' 1 p.m. Saturday match with UNC Asheville. The impending inclement weather throughout the day Saturday has disrupted the 49ers' plans to return to the courts.

No make-up date has been announced at this time.

Charlotte, with a 6-3 record, was able to play just two times in a scheduled five-match homestand over the last two weeks due to various inclement weather situations.

The 49ers look to return to the courts by heading out of town for the next two, starting with a 10 a.m. Monday match in Charleston, S.C., against Charleston Southern. Charlotte will then travel to Conway, S.C., for a 2:30 p.m. Wednesday meeting with Coastal Carolina.
