Pierria Henry averages 9.5 points per game. Henry leads the team in assists with 97 and steals with 75. Henry ranks among the nation's leaders in steals. Willie Clayton averages 8.3 points per game. Clayton leads the team in rebounding at 6.6 boards per game. Terrence Williams, who scored 15 points off the bench against Dayton, averages 7.2 points per game.
Darion Clark, who scored a career-high 17 points against Dayton, averages 6.7 points per game. Clark is third on the team in rebounding at 5.1 boards per game. Denzel Ingram, who has started 23 of the last 24 games, averages 6.3 points per game. E. Victor Nickerson, who has started the last seven games, averages 5.6 points per game. Ivan Benkovic recorded his first career double-figure scoring game with 10 points off the bench against Massachusetts, February 2. Mike Thorne scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench against Temple, February 24.
St. Bonaventure enters the game on a two-game winning streak after wins over Massachusetts and Duquesne. St. Bonaventure has not played since a 78-71 win on the road at Duquesne last Saturday. Demetrius Conger leads three Bonnies in double-figures at 13.9 points per game. Conger also leads the team in rebounding at 7.0 boards per game.
This game will mark the 13th meeting between Charlotte and St. Bonaventure. Charlotte leads the all-time series, 7-5. St. Bonaventure has won the last two meetings between the two teams. St. Bonaventure defeated Charlotte in Charlotte's Halton Arena, 72-56, in their last meeting, February 25, 2012. Former Niners Javarris Barnett and DeMario Mayfield each scored 13 points in the game. Henry scored 11 points. St. Bonaventure defeated Charlotte, 92-88, in double-overtime in their last meeting at St. Bonaventure, January 8, 2011. Formers Niners Javarris Barnett and Jamar Briscoe scored 20 points apiece in that game. Barnett recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Charlotte's last win at St. Bonaventure was an 87-83 win, February 9, 2008.
