The Charlotte 49ers men's tennis team (5-5) travels to Spartanburg, South Carolina to play Wofford (2-4), Thursday, February 28 at 2:30 pm.

"After some dicey weather of late, we're ready to get back out on the courts for some match play," Charlotte coach Billy Boykin said. "Wofford is always tough and has a talented group of young players.  We have to be ready to play our best tennis."

Jordi Massalle Ferrer leads the 49ers with 17 singles wins. Jack Williams has 13 singles win. Alex Calott and Paul Cisti each have 11 singles wins.

Kamil Khalil and Krzysztof Kwasniewicz have combined for a team-leading six doubles wins. The doubles team Calott and Cisti have combined for five doubles wins. Massalle Ferrer and Williams have posted a 5-1 doubles record this season.

This match will mark the 14th  meeting between Charlotte and Wofford. The 49ers lead the all-time series, 7-6. Last season, Charlotte defeated Wofford, 4-2, at home, February 21.
