Chris Braswell, who scored 11 points off the bench at Butler, leads the team in scoring at 11.7 points per game. Braswell is second on the team in rebounding at 5.7 boards per game. Pierria Henry, who recorded a team-high 17 points at Butler, averages 9.3 points per game. Henry leads the team in assists with 87 and steals with 68. Henry ranks among the nation's leaders in steals. Willie Clayton, who scored 11 points at Butler, averages 8.4 points per game. Clayton leads the team in rebounding at 6.9 boards per game. Terrence Williams, who has recorded seven double-figure scoring games this season, averages 6.8 points per game.
Darion Clark, who recorded his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season with 10 points at Butler, averages 6.6 points per game. Clark is third on the team in rebounding at 4.8 boards per game. Denzel Ingram, who has started 20 of the last 21 games, averages 6.5 points per game. Ingram scored nine points at Butler. E. Victor Nickerson, who has started the last four games, averages 5.8 points per game. Nickerson made the game-sealing steal in the 49ers victory at Butler, Wednesday. Ivan Benkovic recorded his first career double-figure scoring game with 10 points off the bench against Massachusetts, February 2.
This game will mark the 26th meeting between Charlotte and Saint Louis, who leads the all-time series, 14-11. Saint Louis defeated Charlotte, 68-67, in their last meeting which came in Halton Arena, January 14, 2012. Javarris Barnett led four 49ers in double-figures with 23 points. Saint Louis defeated Charlotte, 61-56, in their last game at Saint Louis, February 19, 2011. Barnett led the 49ers in scoring with 17 points. Derrio Green scored 13 points off the bench.
