CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte track and field team is making its last stop at the Tiger Paw Invitational hosted by Clemson beginning on Friday, Feb. 8 before heading to the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship on Feb. 16. 

The Niners are looking to continue their fine-tuning as the season progresses and are tweaking some final mechanics before the conference championship.

The Tiger Paw Invitational will host over 1,300 athletes all across the southeastern region of the nation. 

The meet gets underway at 2 p.m. on Friday with multiple field events and the qualifying rounds of the 60m dash. Other events scheduled for Friday are the qualifying rounds of the 60m hurdles, 800m, finals for the 60m dash and 60m hurdles, 5000m, and the 200m. The men and women’s distance medley relay will conclude Friday’s portion of the meet. 

Action starts back up on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the pole vault, shot put, and triple jump. The running events begin at 11 a.m. and will end with the 4X400m relay teams beginning at 6:45 p.m.
