At Charlotte - 2014: Played in 37 games with 18 starts primarily at first base hitting .265 with 18 hits and eight runs driven in ... posted four multi-hit games including back-to-back contests at home against UAB ... turned on the offensive late sporting a .364 batting average over his final 12 games, 10 of which came in Conference USA play going 12-for-33 with both of his doubles and six of hits eight RBI ... both doubles came in an 8-0 game two win over Southern Miss ... hit .342 in C-USA over 20 games and posted a .390 on-base percentage during the same time ... led the team with seven sacrifice bunts ... ended the year reaching base safely in six-straight outings ... committed just two errors in 209 chances at first base.
2013: Started 44 games, playing in five more from the bench... Hit his first Division I homer on the road in conference, 3/23 at Richmond... Also homered on final day of season, a three-run home run in the conference championship game on 5/25 against Saint Louis... It was his only three-RBI day of the year... Collected three hits and drove in two in the opening game of the season, 2/15 over Delaware State... Had two hits in a stretch of four of five games, from 2/27-3/3... Had 13 hits in a span of nine games from 2/17-3/10, taking his season average from .250 to .309... Season-best hit streak reached eight games, from 3/23-4/9... TIed for fifth on team with eight two-out RBI... Batted .400 (2-for-5) in the first inning an was .667 (2-for-3) when batting in the 10th inning or later, including a walk-off infield single in the 11th to beat UNC Asheville 8-7 on 4/7.
At Hutchinson Community College - Batted .329 in two seasons, with 60 RBI in his two-year career... Blue Dragons finished 40-17 in 2012, falling in the Region VI Tournament Sub-Regional... Dunnegan was second on the team in 2012 with 15 doubles and fourth with 31 RBI.
Prep - Played for the Clearwater Indians, which posted a 19-3 record in 2010... He batted .377 with 14 runs scored as a senior... Ranked 26th in the state as a senior by MaxPreps.
