2016: Made 16 starts behind the plate during his 27 appearances on the year … hit his second career home run and first over the wall during the Conference USA’s tournament’s day one matchup against nationally-ranked Florida Atlantic … tied a career-high for the second time this season with that two-hit performance against the Owls which saw him connect on a solo HR in the top of the second … first two-hit outing came at UTSA on May 13th going 2-for-6 with a RBI and three runs scored … hit .184 on the year with a dozen hits and nine RBI … drew four walks and laid down seven sacrifice bunts … did not make an error in 114 chances catching.
2015: Played in 44 games in 2015, starting in 38 of them including the first 24-straight all behind the plate … threw out six runners from behind the dish trying to steal … led the team with 10 sacrifice bunts on the year … hit .152 at the plate with 17 hits, three doubles, nine RBI and drew nine walks at the plate … swiped his lone base of the season on February 28th against UNCG in Savannah that led to scoring the game-winning run in the bottom of the 8th … had two hits and two RBI in a home victory over Presbyterian following that up with two more runs driven in a game later at FIU … scored a pair of runs after two walks in a doubleheader nightcap against Louisiana Tech helping the Niners to a weekend sweep over the Bulldogs … Athletic Director’s List (spring).
2014: Played in just six games of 2014 before missing the rest of the season due to injury ... five of his six appearances were in a pinch-hitting role going hitless in three at-bats with two walks ... Athletic Director's List (fall).
2013: Played in 31 games, making 21 starts (14 as catcher, 7 as DH) and had eight pinch-hit appearances, second-most on the team ... Hit a lone home run, Charlotte's only inside-the-park homer when he snuck one down the right field line to complete a doubleheader win over Siena on March 16th ... Best day of the year came at Temple, with three hits and three RBI in a 10-2 Sunday road victory ... Recorded a hit and a hit by pitch in those eight pinch-hit appearances ... Collected four RBI in six opportunities with a runner at third and less than two out ... Had a pair of hits and drew a walk in five bases-loaded at bats, with four RBI in those situations ... Had three multi-hit games ... All three of his extra-base hits came when catching ... Threw out a pair of runner attempting to steal.
Prep - Played for the Hough Huskies for coach Jimmy Cochran ... Team won 2012 West Regional, falling in the state championship series ... Named team offensive MVP and a member of the Champions Club Member ... He posted a .411 average in 2012, with 10 doubles, 25 RBI and 14 stolen bases ... He was also named all-conference in the I-Meck 4A Conference.
