2016: Appeared in six games, all in relief, during the month of March missing a majority of the season due to injury … went a season-high 1.2 innings against Georgia on March 8th in Uptown Charlotte at BB&T Ballpark … went at-least one inning in four of his six outings.
2015: Made 24 appearances, all out of the bullpen, to lead the Niner relievers … went 1-1 with four saves, all in Conference USA play, and a 5.28 ERA … scored first save on March 20th at FIU allowing a run on three hits with two punchouts working the ninth to save a 5-4 victory … his second came during a three-game sweep of Louisiana Tech going the final two innings scoreless with a pair of strikeouts … third came preserving another 5-4 win at UAB on April 25th and a 4-3 victory over UTSA on May 14th … tossed a season-high three innings against UTSA on May 14th striking out a season-high four … fanned at-least two hitters in 11 stints .. tossed 30.2 innings overall allowing just 18 earned runs while fanning 33 … made 16 appearances without allowing a single earned run.
2014: Made 13 appearances, all in relief, sporting a 2-0 record and slim 1.02 ERA ... hurled 17.2 innings allowing just two runs with 21 strikeouts ... scored his first collegiate win with two innings of work against USC Upstate allowing just one hit with three strikeouts before notching his second victory after 2.2 innings against Winthrop on May 13th ... fanned a career-high six hitters in three innings of work against UAB on May 4th.
2013: Pitched in 11 games, making three starts ... Team was 2-9 in games in which he pitched, though he entered five games while Charlotte was trailing ... Got his only save of the season on March 24th at Richmond, pitching the last two innings after entering with a 5-4 Charlotte lead in his second-longest relief appearance by pitch count of the season ... The 49ers won the game after his first start of the season, his longest of the year in a 3.2-inning outing, tossing 69 pitches against Youngstown State, which the 49ers won 5-2 on March 3rd... Picked off a pair of baserunners to tie Tyler Barnette for third-most on the team.
Prep - Played for Mt. Tabor Spartans team, with a win in his start in the quarterfinals (district championship) of the North Carolina 4A State Championships ... Earned All-Central Piedmont Conference accolades and was named Mt. Tabor Defensive Player of the Year ... Tossed 60 innings, with 92 strikeouts and 25 walks and a 2.57 earned run average ... Part of his senior season included a no-hitter, with a 15-strikeout performance in Myrtle Beach against the Kenston (Ohio) Bombers.
