Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers play Georgia Southern in Halton Arena in a game that will be broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network, Tuesday, November 13 at 9 pm. The game is also Military Appreciation Night. Fans are encouraged to purchase a 49ers camo T-Shirt at the UNC Charlotte bookstore and $6 of each purchase will support military personnel. The team will wear the camo t-shirts during warmups as well. Also, the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a free 49ers backpack.

The last time the 49ers were in action, Charlotte defeated preseason Big South Conference favorite Charleston Southern, 68-58, in their season opener in Halton Arena last Friday. Terrence Williams recorded his first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. E. Victor Nickerson scored 11 points. Pierria Henry scored 10 points, grabbed five rebounds and recorded five steals. Darion Clark grabbed 11 rebounds in his collegiate debut.

The 49ers lead the all-time series over Georgia Southern, 7-2. Charlotte has won four of the last five meetings including a 77-61 win their last meeting which came in Halton Arena in the first round of the 2006 NIT, March 14, 2006. Former 49ers standout Curtis Withers led the 49ers with 20 points and 16 rebounds in the game. Former 49ers stalwart De'Angelo Alexander also scored 20 points.
