At Topsail: An all-conference and all-Area selection who was also a two-time state track and field high jump champion (6’9) ... helped Bryan Davis-coached Topsail High to an 8-4 record and the Pender County title as a senior ... Averaged 15.5 yards per catch as a wideout ... saw time at quarterback and running back, producing over 600 total yards ... Was a defensive back on the opposite side of the ball for the Pirates ... a four-year varsity football player ... Named ECC Track and Field Player of the Year.
