2014-15: All-American Honorable Mention ... Played in 12 tournaments covering 35 rounds that includes setting a new school-record for best finish at the NCAA Championship tying for eighth in the 156-player field ... carded rounds for 70-74-72 (even par) to qualify for a fourth and final round posting another two-under 70 ... set career-highs in three different categories ... a new personal best round of 68 was accomplished twice in the first rounds of the Gary Koch Invitational and Conference USA Championships ... matched his previous best round of 69 in the opening round of the General Hackler Invitational ... his 68 at the Gary Koch Invitational started his best 54-hole tournament finish in his career adding up to 212 (68-72-72) while concluding tied for fifth out of 81 competitors ... shot three-consecutive rounds of 71 at the Bayou City Collegiate to register his second-best finishes of 213 and tie for seventh out of 87 other golfers ... all six career top-10 finishes, including a top-five, came in 2015 ... career stroke average now down to 74.11 after his 73.74 average through his 35 rounds of 2015.
2014-15 Season Statistics2013-14: Played in eight events during the year posting best finish at the 2014 Tiger Invitational in March finishing tied for 12th with an even-par tournament of 216 (74-72-70). Davenport opened his season at the fall Rod Myers Invitational in mid-October setting a new career-best with a second round 69 ... tied and set his second-best career round of 70 four different times ... continued to re-write his own personal record book with his even-par finish at the Tiger Invitational becoming his new tournament best and top finish at the same time. Shaved overall stroke average down to 74.47 with a career-best season average of 73.88 during the year.
2012-13: Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, 2/27 ... Played one fall event, adding three more in the spring semester... His five-over 221 was tied for 31st and earned him Rookie of the Week at the Bayou City Collegiate Championships... Best finish came with a tie for 28th at the Hawkeye Invitational, his last tournament of the season.
