Justin Walker serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Charlotte 49ers football program, joining the staff in 2012. In his role, he assists operations of all things related to athletic training of Charlotte football.

Justin completed his Bachelor's Degree from Elon University in Athletic Training in 2007.  From there he went on to do a seasonal internship with the New York Jets during the 2007-2008 season, after which he then did a one year sports medicine internship with Presbyterian College. His responsibilities at PC included assisting with football and being the primary athletic trainer with softball. He pursued his Master's degree at Georgia State University in Sports Medicine in 2009. While at GSU, he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the startup football program from 2009-2011.

After completing his Masters in 2011, Justin returned to the state of North Carolina and worked for one year with Gardner-Webb University as an assistant athletic trainer with the football program. 

Originally from Bucks County, PA; Justin resides in Belmont, NC with his wife Jordan Ashley Baker and their dog Rascal.  In his free time, Justin enjoys playing golf and watching sports especially his beloved Philadelphia sports teams.
