At Charlotte: 2014-15 - Had 18 games where he connected on at least one three-point field goal...Scored seven points including knocking down two threes in the 49ers road win at Elon (November 16)...This marked his first action since playing 22 minutes in the 49ers NIT game at Providence (March 20, 2013), missed lthe 2013-14 season due to a back injury...Scored eight points including going 5-for-5 from the free throw line against Penn State (November 20)...Scored nine points on three three-point field goals against Miami (November 23) in the Championship game of the Charleston Classic...Knocked down two threes in the first half of the FIU game (January 31)...Scored a season-high tying nine points (3-for-5 from the field, 2-for-4 from beyond the three-point line) at UTEP (February 12)...Gave the 49ers quality minutes off the bench including knocking down two threes against Marshall (March 7).

2012-13 - Scored a season-high 15 points on five three-point field goals at St. Bonaventure...Recorded first career double-figure scoring game with 10 points on 3 three-point field goals against Massachusetts...Hit three huge threes and grabbed a season-high five rebounds in the 49ers comeback win at Duquesne...Scored eight points against Oral Roberts...Played only about 40 seconds against Florida State but they were an eventful 40 seconds with one assist and then a game-tying three-point field goal attempt from about 25 feet which hit the front of the rim at the buzzer...Connected on his first career three-point field goal against Texas State...Saw his first action as a 49er against Lamar...Connected on his first career free throw against Xavier...Knocked down a couple of threes against #16 Saint Louis in the A-10 Tournament
At Mack Academy: Played for the Croatian National Team...Came United States prior to his junior year in High School...Attended United Faith Christian Academy in Charlotte, N.C. in 2010-11 and Mack Academy in Charlotte in 2011-12...As a junior at nationally-ranked United Faith, the three-point specialist helped the Falcons to the NC Independent School’s Athletic Association 1A State Championship game ...Played his junior year a t United Faith with current 49ers teammate Braxton Ogbueze...Scored 14 points in the 57-49 State Championship game loss to Trinity Christian, which featured Niners teammate Mike Thorne in the middle...United Faith, which split games with Oak Hill Academy during the regular season, completed a 28-8 season as state runner-up...As a senior at Mack Academy, Benkovic averaged 15.0 points for head coach Will Sperow.
