Rachel Ramey is entering her 4th year with the 49ers' Athletic Academic Center as Assistant Director & Life Skills Coordinator.  Rachel rejoined the AAC staff after originally serving as the AAC GA from 2008-2010.   Ramey serves as the advisor for Golf, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Women's Tennis and also oversees the department's Life Skills program and Community Service. 

Ramey returned to her alma mater July 2012, after a two year stint as the NCAA Eligibility & Student- Athlete Success /Life Skills Coordinator at Ohio University where she worked with Women's Basketball, Softball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Women's Track & Field/Cross Country and Men's Cross Country.   Ramey is a 2007 cum laude graduate from UNC Charlotte with a double major in criminal justice and political science.  She earned her Master's of Liberal Studies from UNC Charlotte in May 2010. 

Ramey is an active member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A), in which she earned individual certification in 2011. She is also a member of the 2013 N4A Professional Development Institute (PDI) New Practioner class. Ramey serves as a core member on the N4A Student-Athlete Development Committee. 

Ramey is a native of Richmond, Virginia and resides in Huntersville, NC with her fiancé Kyle.
