Morrison (Monck's Corner, S.C./Berkeley H.S.) is one of six 49ers competing at the junior championships.  Each of the six just completed their freshman season for the A-10 Champion 49ers.

Trey McRae (Laurinburg, N.C./Scotland H.S.) will compete in the men's high jump, Sunday. Juanita Leto (Concord, N.C./Concord H.S.) will run in the women's 100 meter hurdles on Saturday.  The first round will be at 4:45 with the finals slated for 7:50.  T'Sheila Mungo (Charlotte, N.C./Independence H.S.) and Jaleah Wilder (Raleigh, N.C./Southeast Raleigh H.S.) will run in the women's 400 meter first round on Saturday with hopes of advancing to Sunday's final.  Kristen Stout (Hendersonville, N.C./Hendersonville H.S.) rounds out the 49ers appearance in the women's 3000 meters on Sunday at 4:45.

Charlotte won both the men's and women's A-10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, this year.

Mungo was the A-10 Champion in the 400 meters this spring and joined with Morrison and Wilder on the gold medal-winning 4x400 meter relay team.
