Joe’s a high-character guy. I had a chance to work with him at Wake. He has a great wealth of knowledge offensively. He played quarterback at the highest level and can bring a great perspective for our receivers. He has great contacts and relationships in Georgia and will represent Charlotte in a first class manner."
