2015 - Outdoor: Competed in the 5K at the Conference USA Championships with a time of 15:43.43 to finish 18th overall....Ran the 1500m at the Charlotte Invitational in 4:07.23....Indoor: Ran a personal-best time in the 3K with a time of 8:36.98 at the Samford Invite improving his time by seven seconds...Finished ninth in the 5000m at the Conference USA Championships clocking a personal-best time of 14:51.88....Sterett's 5K time ranks fifth all-time in program history and his 3000m time is 10th....
2014 Cross Country: Competed in four races for the Niners...Had a PR in the 8K with a time of 25:16.1 at the C-USA Championships finishing 23rd...Ran a PR time of 31:55.3 in the 10K at the Southeast Regional Championships.....Finished fourth overall at the Western Carolina Catamount Classic clocking a time of 26:10.48.
2014 Outdoor: Ran a PR time of 15:15.13 in the 5k at the Charlotte Invitational...Ran a time of 9:01.02 at the Bill Carson Invite at ECU to place 3rd in the 3k Indoor: At the Bob Pollock Invitational at Clemson ran a PR time of 4:19.88 in the mile to place 5th.
2013 Cross Country: Competed in six meets...Was the 49ers second finisher on the team in three meets...Ran his fastest 8k at the NCAA Pre-Nationals (26:02.01)...Finished in 32nd at the C-USA Championships (26:38.02)....Ran 31:57.7 in the 10k at the Southeast Regional Championships.
2013 - Outdoor: Finished third in the 1500m (4:01.73) at the JCSU Invitational … Finished tenth in the 3000m (9:04.83) at the 49er Classic … Was 19th in the mile (4:25.47) at the HPU VertKlasse Meet. Indoor: Was 12th in the mile (4:22.28) at the Atlantic 10 Championships … Best 3000m performance was at the UAB Blazer Invitational where he finished eighth (8:52.70) … Finished 17th in the 1000m (2:33.64) at the Hokie Invitational.
2012 - Cross Country: Was the only Niner to compete in all seven races of the season ... Best 5K time was at the WCU Invitational (16:13.9) ... Was 30th at the Toledo Regional (20:33.5) ... Ran his fastest 8K time at the Charlotte Invitational (26:39.09) ... Finished 85th at the Atlantic 10 Championship (27:55.8) ... Was fifth for the 49ers at the NCAA Southeast Regional with a time of 33:52.78 to finish 170th.
