2013: Made 22 appearances out of the bullpen, tied for third-most on the team... Team was 12-10 in games in which he appeared... 34.0 innings pitched were third-most on team... Got a win in his first season appearances after 5.1 innings pitched at home against Youngstown State on 3/3... Tossed a career-long 5.2 innings on 3/10 against Kent State... Earned the first of four career saves in third appearance of season, four innings in a home win over SIena on 3/16... Got his final three season saves against conference teams, including Charlotte's opening win of the A-10 Tournament, a 6-5 win iver RIchmond on 5/22... Did not allow an earned run in an eight-game stretch, from 4/19-5/25, a span of 4.1 innings... Dean's List (fall and spring).
2012: Made 18 appearances (team was 4-14 in those games)... Did not allow an earned run in 13 appearances, striking out a season-high two batters in a three-inning home appearance against Holy Cross on 3/6... Earned only win of the season, and the second of his career, after tossing a season-long four innings in a 7-4 home victory over Winthrop... Allowed just one hit, with one strikeout in 36 pitches... Took first career loss in late 5-4 loss at Xavier on 3/31, after a season-long 37-pitch outing, allowing two hits and a walk for one earned run in 2.2 innings... Posted fewest walks per nine innings on the team this season, giving up just four walks in 20 innings pitched... Athletic Director's List (fall).
2011: Appeared in 12 games (team went 5-7 in those games), all out of the bullpen... Allowed an earned run in only two of 12 appearances... Did not allow a hit in five appearances... Struck out career-high three batters, of the four he faced, in a home win over Harvard on 3/20... Did not allow an earned run in first 5.2 innings pitch for the year... Athletic Director's List (fall, 10 and '11), Dean's List (spring).
Prep - Named All Southwestern Conference in 2010, finishing senior season with a 1.69 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 52 innings for the Bulldogs... Was on winning Region Six team that won State Games championship in 2009... Earned Butler's Pitcher of the Year honors in 2010... Played in the Battle of the Border (NC vs. SC)... Named to the 2009 Perfect Game Top 150 high school prospects and a Carolinas Baseball Center Hot Stove Dinner Pitcher of the Year candidate... Finished with a 3.6 grade point average in high school.
