2015 - Outdoor: Finished 37th in the javelin at the NCAA East Preliminaries with a throw of 60.33m (197-11)....Placed fifth in the javelin at the Conference USA Championships with a season-best throw of 64.82m (212-08)....Won the javelin at the season-opening 49er Classic with a toss of 60.88m (199-09)....Also claimed first place in the javelin at the Charlotte Invitational with a throw of 64.22m (210-08)....Won his third javelin title at the Radford Invitational launching a throw of 62.20m (204-0).
2014 - Outdoor: Opened up his second season back from Tommy John Surgery with a mark of 56.25m (184'6") for second at the 49er Classic...At the Bill Carson Invitational at ECU he hurled a PR of 59.83m (196'3") to take 4th for his first PR since High School...On the last day of the CUSA Outdoor championships at Rice University in Houston, Texas he broke the oldest Charlotte Track and Field record on his last throw with a spectacular distance of 65.63m (215'4") for an almost 6m PR to place 5th and qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Javelin Throw...At the NCAA East Preliminary he place 38th with a throw of 59.14m (194'0"). Indoor: Had a PR in shotput throwing 13.55m (44'5.5") placing 15th at the CUSA Indoor Championships.
2013 - Outdoor: Best performance in the javelin was at the 49er Classic where he finished eighth with a throw of 178’0. Indoor: Finished sixth in the shot put with a toss of 43’8.75 at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
2012 - Did not compete. Tommy John Surgery
2011 - Outdoor: Took sixth in the javelin (193'7) at the Charlotte Invitational, a mark that qualified him for the USATF Junior Championships ... Fourth in the javelin (56.97m) at the A10 Championship ... Indoor: Did not compete.
Prep: Three-time indoor and outdoor all-state honoree ... Registered third-place finish in the shot put in 2010 ... Finished fourth in the javelin at the state meet as a sophomore ... Named second-best sophomore in the region of New England ... Earned sixth place in the javelin at New Englands his senior year ... National Honor Society member ... President's List honoree ... Member of the honor roll all four years.
Personal: Son of Lisa and Ronald Freeman ... Sociology major ... Born February 9, 1992...Brother has his Ph.D in Nuclear engineering from the Purdue University
