2012-13: Posted a career-low seven-under 65 and finished tied for seventh with a career-best 13-under 203 at the Pacific Invitational in California... The 65 tied with seven other golfers for the second-lowest individual 18-hole round in school history... Played in 11 of team’s 12 season events, posting four Top-20 finishes. Ended at even par 216 in the Atlantic 10 Championships, tying for 14th... Posted a 17-over 230 in his first NCAAA Regional, at Columbus, Ohio... Finished fifth on squad with a 74.3 stroke average.
2011-12: Played in one fall event, tying for 31st at the Pacific Invite with a seven-over 220 (73-74-73)... Captured the title competing as an individual at the Pfeiffer Irish Creek tournament, shooting a pair of one-under 70s for a career-best two-under 140... Competed in three more tournaments with the team, tying for second-best on the team with a seven-over 220 at the Seminole Intercollegiate... His final-round 72 there was his low round for the team this season.
2010-11: Competed in three events, one as an individual...74.89 stroke average...Debuted at the UNCG Bridgestone (+5, 221)...Finished +18, 231 at the Seminole Intercollegiate...Added a +9, 222 as an individual at Irish Creek (T36).
Prep - Qualified for 2009 US Junior Amateur, advancing to match play portion ... placed third in his US Junior Amateur Qualifer at Walpole CC in Massachusetts ... With rounds of 72-78, Toland advanced to the 64-player match play portion of the tournament as the 41st seed ... was an alternate for the 2009 US Amateur after rounds of 70-71 landed him fourth at his qualifier at Race Brook Country Club in Connecticut ... Finished second at the 2010 Division I Vermont High School State Championship at Middlebury GC in Middlebury, VT (70) ... He placed sixth out of 108 players at the World Series of Junior Golf and sixth out of 75 golfers at the Lessing's AJGA Junior Classic in Lawrence, NY where he put up rounds of 71-71-73 ... He added a second-place finish at the FCWT Red Tail Golf Open in Devens, Mass. He also shot a 68 to place first at his high school sectionals and carded a 66 to finish in first place at the Patriot Classic ... Finished second at the 2010 Vermont Amateur at Manchester CC in Manchester, Vt. (70-74-74-73 = 291, +3) ... Won the 2010 US Challenge Cup's Spinal Technology Junior Classic at Old Marsh CC in Wells, Maine by two strokes (76-72 -- 148).
