Tied for Atlantic 10 Conference lead with five triples, leading Charlotte with 45 RBI, fourth-most in the A-10, including 23 in league-games only, second-most in the league by any league player... Put together a .327 season, the highest average of his career after a career-best 65 hits... Has started all but one of Charlotte's last 115 consecutive games... Both of his two home runs came at Xavier, on 3/30 and 3/31... He is only one of two players to homer in consecutive games for the season... Three of his four career home runs have come at Xavier (first career homer came at XU in 2010)... 26 walks were the second-most on the team... Led 49ers with .692 percentage scoring a player from third with less than two outs, recording 18 RBI in 26 of those situations... Also led team with 15 two-out RBI... Tied for team lead in multiple-RBI games, with nine, including Charlotte's only five-RBI game of the season, part of a 12-RBI weekend at George Washington... 2011: Academic All-Conference. Charlotte's everyday third baseman played all but one game for the 49ers, leading the Atlantic 10 and finishing 30th in the NCAA in walks (44), also tops on the team with 17 doubles, third in runs scored (43), stolen bases (15) and at bats (215) and fourth in batting average (.298)... Drove in career-high five RBI and tied career high with four hits at Massachusetts on 4/29, which included career-high two doubles... Scored career-best four runs at home against Missouri on 2/27... Hit second career home run with career-high seven total bases (HR, triple) at La Salle in first game of doubleheader on 5/14... Stole career-high three bases at home against Richmond on 5/6... Broke a one-all tie with a two-RBI double to give Charlotte a lead it kept in a 4-3 home win over No. 6 North Carolina on 3/29... Batted .400 (10-for-25) in seventh innings for the season, hitting his one homer for the season in that frame... The only player with more than one RBI in extra innings for the season... 20 hits versus left-handed pitchers was second-most on team... Led starters with two-out RBI (19) and batting averages with runners on (.369) and runners in scoring position (.397)... Tied for the team lead with bunts for a hit (7) and finished second with nine sacrifice bunts... Chancellor's List (fall and spring).
2010: Atlantic 10 Conference All-Tournament Team. Led first-year players in all offensive categories... Batted in four different positions in the lineup (OF, DH, 2B, 3B)... Had first career home run at Xavier on 5/9... Hit first triple of career at A-10 Conference Tournament against Xavier on 5/28... Scored a career-high three runs twice and recorded a multi-RBI performance four times... Drew a career-high three walks in home game against Buffalo on 2/26... Recorded his first game-winning RBI with an RBI single in the fifth inning to break a three-all tie at home against Buffalo on 2/27... Also put Charlotte ahead in the ninth inning to win the first of two A-10 Tournament games with a two-RBI single to help to defeat Rhode Island 7-3 on 5/28... Chancellor's List (Fall and Spring).
At Marvin Ridge - South Piedmont Conference and Union County Player of the Year in 2009... Was a two-time team captain and All-Conference honoree for baseball and basketball with the Mavericks... Earned a Charlotte Observer Player of the Year award for the Piedmont Area in baseball... Team finished 22-4 and won the conference title with an undefeated 16-0 league mark in 2009.
