2008: Appeared in 23 games, making 23 starts, all but one (DH) at catcher... Started Charlotte's first game of season... Recorded first career run in that game, reaching by walk and recorded six putouts and one assist defensively... Was 1-for-1 in three pinch-hit appearances, drawing two walks... Delivered first career extra-base hit, a double, as part of first multi-hit day (2) in home win over High Point on March 8... Hit first career home run in first at-bat of home victory over Xavier on April 12... Had first multi-RBI game that day, driving in a second run that day with a sacrifice fly... Had second multi-RBI day and first multi-run performance in record-breaking win at Massachusetts on April 19... Finished season with career-long four-game hit streak, with two hits in each of his last two games... Raised season batting average 41 points in last four games, up to .281... Athletic Director's List (fall, '07).
