Lobo Season-Ticket Information

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 2013 college football season opener between the University of New Mexico and UTSA on Branch Field at University Stadium will be broadcast locally on KASY, My50TV.

The game, the first-ever meeting between the schools, is set for Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. The game is a matchup of teams with former BCS coaches matching wits. UTSA coach Larry Coker won a national championship with the University of Miami in 2001, and UNM coach Bob Davie led Notre Dame to its first BCS bowl game in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl.

Jay Howard, former longtime radio announcer for the San Antonio Spurs, will handle play-by-play duties. David Williams, former longtime New Mexico high school football coach and current Albuquerque Public Schools color analyst, will provide analysis for the broadcast, which was set in motion by Lobo Sports Properties.

Lobo Sports Properties is Learfield Sports' local entity which owns the multimedia rights for University of New Mexico athletics.

In addition to UNM, Learfield Sports manages the multimedia rights for more than 50 collegiate properties across the country and titles the acclaimed Learfield Sports Directors' Cup with award co-founders NACDA and USA Today.  For more about the company's complete collegiate portfolio and 40-year history, visit
