NEW MEXICO

2013: Put together a complete cross country season for the first time in three years, competing at four meets ... Debuted at the Notre Dame Invitational, winning the JV race in 17:58.2 ... Finished 118th at the Wisconin Invitational, covering the 6-kilometer course in 21:13 ... Placed 16th at the Mountain West Championships, with a time of 22:18.73 over 6K ... At the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, placed 35th with a time of 21:30. 

2012: After not competing for nearly two calendar years, Hood raced three times for the Lobos. ... Opened at the Kachina Classic, finishing the 5-kilometer course in 18:43 to place sixth overall and second on the team ... Took third in the open race at the Notre Dame Invitational, completing the 5K in 18:21 ... At the Wisconsin adidas Invitational's open race, claimed 70th with a 22:19 time over 6K.

2011: Did not compete due to an Achilles tendon injury.

2010: Competed at four meets, three for the Lobos and one unattached ... Her unattached mark was recorded at theLobo Invitation, where she place seventh with a time of 17:45 ... Finished 33rd at the Roy Griak Invitational with a 21:50.8 time ... Clocked a 17:39 mark at the Notre Dame Invitational, placing 62nd ... Posted a 22nd-place time of 22:58.6 at the Mountain West Conference Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL

A 2008 graduate of Dumfries High School in Dumfries, Scotland ... Broke the Scottish senior record for steeplechase at age 18.

PERSONAL

Born in Falkirk, Scotland ... Daughter of David, a court clerk, and Janice, a bank manager ... Has two sibilings, Jillian and Ben ... Hobbies include running, music, shopping, traveling, and meeting new people ... Favorite athletes are Rory Fraser and Mo Farah ... Favorite food is anything Italian ... Majoring in health education.
