SOPHOMORE (2013-14)

Missed the season after suffering a preseason Achilles tendon injury… Began Mormon mission in spring in Mexico City.


2012-13 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar...Academic All-Conference... Mountain West Scholar-Athlete... Became a fixture in the post for the Lobos in her first full season with the program... Finished with a team-high 55.1% field goal percentage... Set a career high with 14 points versus Boise State (1-16-13) on an efficient 7-8 performance from the field... Near double-double against Arizona (12-8-12) with nine points and seven rebounds... Registered one of the team's highest assist games with six at Air Force (2-6-13)... Her 55.1% season field goal percentage was the most by a Lobo since Jennifer Williams (57.1%) in the 1999-00 season... Tallied nine games of eight points or more.

FRESHMAN (2011-12)

Medical redshirt after suffering a season-ending knee injury.


Four year letterwinner at Lone Peak HS in Highland, Utah under head coach Keith Flood... Averaged a double-double during her junior and senior seasons (14-10, 15-10, points-rebounds respectively)... Helped her team to two Region 4 championship titles her sophomore and senior years... Twice named first team All-State, once second team All-State, and three times first team All-Region... Also lettered in volleyball where she lead Lone Peak to three state championships... Played her AAU ball with the Utah Swoosh..


Whitney Johnson (nicknamed "Whit") was born on November 27, 1992 in West Valley City, Vt., to Peter and Stephanie Johnson... Has three siblings - Kiana, Aaron and Micah... Business major... Lists Chinese food as her favorite... Favorite athlete is Rajon Rondo... Enjoys playing Dance Dance Revolution in her free time...
