KING’S POINT, N.Y. – Old Dominion University sailing finished eighth overall at the 64th Nevins Trophy event over the weekend  in New York.

The Monarchs compete in three more events next weekend, two races in Annapolis, Md., and one back in King’s Point.

In the Division A race, Esteban Forrer, Julian Wiesner and Gabriel Smith finished in ninth place.  The groups best finished out of the day’s 10 races, was a third place in the third race of the evening.

In Division B, Brady Stagg skippered with Jill Fattibene and Chloe Constants.  The Monarchs finished seventh in the group, finishing in second place during the fifth and eighth races.

Nathan Fields worked in Division B, and came in 12th place.
