- Duke advanced
to the NCAA Tournament Final Four for the 15th time in school history and 11th
time under head coach Mike Krzyzewski. The Blue Devils will head to Indianapolis where they are 2-0 in the NCAA Tournament,
winning the national championship with victories against UNLV and Kansas in 1991.
- Duke is
now 5-1 all-time against teams from the Big 12 conference in the NCAA
Tournament. Sunday marked the first ever meeting between Duke and Baylor. The
Blue Devils have a 41-8 record all-time as a No. 1 seed in the tournament.
- Duke is
making its 15th straight NCAA Tournament under head coach Mike Krzyzewski and
26th in his 30 overall seasons. Krzyzewski extended his NCAA record for tournament
wins to 75. He is now 75-22 (.773) all-time in the NCAA Tournament, the second
highest winning percentage among coaches all-time.
- The Blue
Devils improved to 33-5 on the season. The 33 victories are the fifth most in a
single season by a Duke team, one more than the win total of the 1990-91,
1997-98 and 2005-06 teams.

- He set the Duke single season record for
minutes played, passing Shane Battier's total of 1,363 minutes in 2001. Scheyer
has now played 1,395 minutes this season, playing all 40 minutes in six games
- Scheyer tallied his 16th game with 20 or
more points this season and now has 31 career games with at least 20 points.
- The double-figure scoring game was the 36th
of the season for Scheyer and his 112th career game with at least 10 points.
His 36 double-figure scoring games rank tied for fifth most in a single season
with Shane Battier, Jason Williams and J.J. Redick while his 112 games are
fifth most, one more than Mike Gminski and Grant Hill.
- Scheyer extended his streak to 31 consecutive
games with a made three-point field goal and leads the team with 104 treys this
season. He is just the eighth Duke player to make 100 or more three-point field
goals in a season. He has made five or more treys four times this year.
- With his five free throws, Scheyer has now
made 600 in his career, ranking third on the school's career free throws list.
- For the 11th time this season, Scheyer
recorded five or more rebounds.
- Junior Kyle Singler extended his
consecutive starts streak to 65 games, the longest current streak on the team.
He now has 107 career starts as one of 22 players in school history with 100 or
more career starts.
- The five points were a season low for
Singler, who only has four games this season with under 10 points. His previous
low was six points against Connecticut.
It was the first time in his career he failed to make a field goal.
- Senior Brian Zoubek finished the game with
nine rebounds and in his 15 games as a starter is averaging 9.4 rebounds per
game. In the four NCAA Tournament games, Zoubek is averaging 10.0 rebounds per
game with 36 rebounds in his last three games.
