CARMEL, IND.- UNC Greensboro men's golf (307-300-311) finished the Crooked Stick Invitational in 13thplace at 54-over par. 

Senior Jonathan Brightwell (72-74-73) once again collected a top 10 finish after carding a one-over 73 in the third round. He finished in a three-way tie for 10thplace with Purdue’s Joe Weiler and College of Charleston’s Logan Sowell. 

Junior Nick Lyerly (77-74-75) finished the tournament tied for 38thplace after completing the third round at three-over 75.  

Junior Justin Emmons (77-73-79) carded a seven-over 79 in the third round, as the Climax, N.C., native finished the week’s action tied for 51stplace.

Junior Zack Swanson (81-83-84) and freshman Jack Marcotte (82-79-87) finished tied for 76thplace. 

Phoenix Invitational Wrap

The Spartans had four golfers participating in Elon's Phoenix Invitational this week, with freshman Symon Balbin (73-70-69) leading the way for UNCG as he finished tied for 28thplace. Balbin logged six birdies on the day against four bogeys. 

Senior Grant Powell (72-70-72) finished tied for 33rdplace in the tournament at one-over par. 

Freshman Noah Connor (71-75-70) completed the tournament in a tie for 44thplace as he finished Tuesday’s third round at one-under 70. 

Senior Ben Buben (76-74-72) sealed a 72ndplace finish with a one-over 72 over the final 18 holes.
