GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNCG women's soccer has four players honored on this year's list of Southern Conference postseason awards. 2018 SoCon Player of the Year Cienna Rideout represents the Spartans on this season's First Team All-Conference list, while Kayla Campbell and Kaley Tucker receive Second Team designations, and Gabi Santora garners All-Freshman Team nods. 

Cienna Rideout

First Team All-SoCon Forward
Senior | Forward | Las Vegas, Nev.

• Second career First Team All-Southern Conference selection (2018 SoCon Player of the Year)
• 17 points and six goals on the season were both Spartan-highs
• 11 of those points came in SoCon play, placing her third in the conference
• Scored a brace against Chattanooga, in UNCG's 2-1 victory
• Her 4.16 shots per game led the SoCon in 2019, and ranked 24th in the nation

Kayla Campbell

Second Team All-SoCon Defender
Sophomore | Defense | Rockwall, Texas

• Second career Southern Conference postseason honor; 2018 All-Freshman
• Scored a career-high five goals, trailing only Rideout (6) for a team lead
• Only one defender in the entire SoCon scored more goals than Campbell
• Scored the game-winner in a 1-0 shutout defeat of East Carolina
• Started in each of UNCG's six clean sheets on the year, playing a full 90 minutes in all but one

Kaley Tucker

Second Team All-SoCon Midfielder
R-Junior | Midfield | Littleton, Colo. 

• Second career Southern Conference postseason honor; 2017 All-Freshman
• Started all 19 of the Spartans matches in 2019, recording a team-high 1,689 minutes over the year
• Grabbed two assists and a pair of goals for a total of six points
• Scored the game-winner in the Spartans' 2-0 defeat of ETSU 
• Recorded the key assist in Rideout's game-winner against Chattanooga

Gabi Santora
Southern Conference All-Freshman Team
Freshman | Midfield | Boca Raton, Fla.

• First career Southern Conference postseason honor
• Earned SoCon Attacking Player of the Week after a brace against Elon
• Scored the game-winner in the 87th minute against the Phoenix
• Her 11 points rank third on the Spartans roster, with her five assists tied for team-high
• Registered a three-point effort in 4-2 win over the Citadel

The No. 3 Spartans are on route for their third straight Southern Conference Tournament win this week, most recently defeating No. 6 Chattanooga this past Sunday at UNCG Soccer Stadium. As the conference tournament hosts, UNCG will play another home match in the semifinals, facing off with No. 2 Furman this Friday at 6:30 p.m. for a spot in the SoCon finals.
