Carter Jordan is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Lady Monarchs. He will mainly be working with the goalkeepers. Jordan comes to ODU after serving as goalkeeper director for FC Richmond soccer club as well as the goalkeeper coach for the University of Richmond soccer team in the spring of 06.

A native of Richmond, Va., where he played soccer at Patrick Henry High School. Jordan earned All-District honors as a goalkeeper and was captain of the boys basketball team.

Jordan served as goalkeeper director for Diadora Impact Soccer Club in Knoxville, TN. He also served as the goalkeeper coach for the men's and women's soccer programs at Carson Newman College. While there, both teams were ranked nationally in Division II with the men's goalkeeper earning All-American honors. Jordan got his start as goalkeeper coach with Soccer-Plus camps.

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in 2005 with a degree in sports management and will be working towards a Masters degree in sports management at ODU.
