Lady Monarchs Blank James Madison, 7-0

NEWPORT NEWS, VA -- The Old Dominion women's tennis team collected a 7-0 sweep of CAA foe James Madison Friday afternoon at the Centre Court Racquet Club in Newport News. With the win, the Lady Monarchs improve to 4-1 overall (1-1 CAA).

Old Dominion started the match by sweeping all three doubles contests and claiming the doubles point. The Lady Monarchs then went on to sweep singles play behind fourth-ranked freshman sensation Nataly Cahana (Qiriat Bialik, Israel) and sophomore Mily Kannarkat (Virginia Becah, Va.), who both improved to 5-0 in spring singles play.

The Lady Monarchs will travel to Virginia Tech Saturday afternoon.
