NORFOLK, Va. - Below are the latest updates and changes for ODU Athletics due to potential effects from Hurricane Dorian.
THE BOBBY WILDER COACH'S SHOW
The Bobby Wilder Coach's Show Presented by Chartway Federal Credit Union will air on ESPN Radio 94.1 and the ODU Sports Radio Network on Thursday, Sept. 5, but Wilder and Ted Alexander will not be at Wild Wing Cafe. The show airs from 7-8 p.m.
Thursday's home match against Longwood has been bumped up to a 2:00 p.m. start on Thursday, Sept. 5 at the ODU Soccer Complex. Admission for this game is now FREE for ALL! This match was originally slated to start at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The Old Dominion field hockey team’s game against No. 25 William & Mary, originally scheduled for Friday, September 6, has been postponed due to the impending weather. The game will instead be moved to Tuesday, September 10 at 5:00 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The Old Dominion men’s golf team is scheduled to tee-off their fall season at the Golfweek Program Championship in Myrtle Beach this weekend. Initially the four-day event was supposed to begin Saturday, September 7, but due to the weather in the area the start date has been moved to Sunday, September 8.
The men's soccer contest against NJIT originally slated for Friday, Sept. 6 has been cancelled due to the impending storm. They will now host St. Francis PA on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. the match was originally scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m.
