Monarchs Top West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Move To 3-0

MORGANTOWN, WV -- Old Dominion men's swimming and diving team defeated West Virginia 84-29, and Virginia Tech 74-39, to move to 3-0 on the year. The Lady Monarchs lost to WVU 31-82, and Virginia Tech 36-77.

Senior Jimmy Sullivan (West Palm Beach, FL) won three events for the men's team, while the Monarch relay team swept the 400 medley and 400 free events. The women's team was led by freshman Jamie D'Agostino (Ardsley, NY) who won the 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle women's events and by freshman Sarah Mooney (Riverside, RI) who captured the 200 IM.

The men's and women's teams return to action on Saturday, November 6, as the teams travel to Greenville, NC, to take on CAA foe East Carolina at 1 pm.
