MacCallum Named to Scotland U21 Squad

ALBANY, N.Y. - University at Albany rising junior Katie MacCallum has been selected to join the Scotland U21 National team that will compete in the U21 EuroHockey Championship in Turkey this summer.

 

MacCallum appeared in 21 games for UAlbany as a sophomore during the 2018 season, making 20 starts while scoring two goals and recording five assists.  As a freshman, MacCallum scored 12 goals with five assists, earning America East All-Rookie and NFHCA All-Northeast Second Team honors. 

 

Scotland will play in a Pool B at the EuroHockey Championship with Austria, the Czech Republic, and Wales.  The top two finishing teams in the championship will be promoted to the A Division in 2021.

 

Scotland’s first match is July 14 against Wales.
