The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has signed a partnership agreement with Peopletrail as the preferred screening services provider of the NAIA.
The partnership will help expand the use of background checks and screenings at NAIA member institutions. This partnership is an extension of a current agreement, in which Peopletrail offers special pricing to screen sport officials and NAIA national office staff. Their services also include screening for volunteers, referees, officials, and coaches. Peopletrail offers customized sports packages based on the needs and compliance protocols specific to this industry.
“Peopletrail is a leader in the athletics industry and will be instrumental in providing the tools our institutions need for unbiased and customized screening programs,” said Jim Carr, NAIA president and CEO.
“Athletics have the unique opportunity to positively influence the passionate people involved with sports and we are excited to begin our partnership with NAIA,” said Wallace T. Davis, president and CEO of Peopletrail. “This partnership allows us to address a key part of the safety in sports, which is the character of those involved.”
