2018-19 NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week (April 24, 2019)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. Juana Zambrano of Brenau (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of The Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Zambrano was nominated for her performances during the week of April 15-21 and was selected out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

  • Won two singles and three doubles courts on the week
  • Helped her team capture the Appalachian Athletic Conference crown
  • Clinched the match in the semifinals vs. then-RV Tennessee Wesleyan and again in the finals against then-No. 22 SCAD Atlanta (Ga.)
