Kelly, Sum and Team Earn All-Academic Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. (3/1/16) - Senior Brett Kelly and freshman Steven Sum earned all-academic honors by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) in the sport of men's cross country.

Kelly was a steady scorer for the Tigers all season. He was the Tigers' No. 4 both the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, finishing 22nd overall and was 20th overall at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship. Sum was 24th at the NCAA Regional was 35th and the final scorer at Heps

To be eligible for the award a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average and earn All-America status or finish in the 25 at the regional meet.

The Princeton men's cross country team was also honored as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. The team qualified with a cumulative GPA of 3.35.
