Ku Leads Four Tigers on All-Ivy Women's Golf Teams

Hana Ku, Amber Wang, Alex Wong and Jordan Lippetz were part of the All-Ivy women's golf teams announced Tuesday.

Ku was named to the first-team All-Ivy while Wang, Wong and Lippetz were second-teamers.

Ku, a junior, is on the All-Ivy first team after being named to the second team each of the last two years. After closing the fall with an individual and a team title at the Lehigh Invitational, Ku led or co-led Princeton in all four spring events, culminating in a tie for fourth place at the Ivy League Championships. Ku placed in the top 10 overall in each of the last four stroke-play events of the season.

Wang, a freshman, played in all eight events in her first year with the program, tying for sixth at the Ivy League Championships. She also posted top-10 finishes at the Georgetown Hoy Invitaitonal, placing seventh, the Pinehust Invitational, tying for sixth and co-leading the team, the Lehigh Invitational, taking second, the Yale Invitational, tying for 10th and leading the team, and the Bucknell Invitational, tying for eighth and leading the team.

Wong, a senior, was a part of the All-Ivy teams for the first time last year as a first-team honoree. This year, She tied for 10th at the Ivy League Championships. After closing the fall with a tie for 10th overall at the Lehigh Invitational, Wong finished in the top 11 in all three spring stroke-play events, tying for second overall and co-leading the team at the Georgetown Hoya Invitational. 

Lippetz, a junior, was a second-team All-Ivy honoree last year. Before tying for 10th overall at the Ivy League Championships, Lippetz had two top-10 finishes in the fall, taking fourth place at the Princeton Invitational and fifth place at the Lehigh Invitational. 

Princeton closed its season last weekend with a second-place finish at the Ivy League Championships after winning three events - the Lehigh Invitational, the Georgetown Hoya Invitational and the Brown Bear Match Play - between the fall and the spring and placing in the top three in four other events during the 2015-16 campaign.
