2016 (Sophomore): NFCA Second-Team All-Region... CoSIDA Academic All-American... C-USA All-Academic Team... Spring 2016 C-USA Spirit of Service Award winner... College Sports Madness C-USA Player of the Week (5/1)... Started all 55 games at shortstop, leading the league with 49 RBI... Led squad with .345 BA, nine homeruns, 11 doubles, 101 total bases, .571 slugging percentage... perfect 7-for-7 in stolen bases... Led team with 18 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI games... Tallied eight RBI during week of 3/08-3/13, including hitting the game-tying two-run shot against FIU in the opening weekend of C-USA play... Had a career weekend in series versus Middle Tennessee (4/30-5/1), where she recorded 10 RBI, scored seven runs and hit two HR, including second career grand slam... Had two three-hit games on season (Winthrop, Game 1, 3/29) (Louisiana Tech, Game 2, 5/07)... Finished second for single-season record in RBI and tied for eighth in homers... 2015 (Freshman): Started all 51 games for the Niners making 44 starts at second base and seven more at shortstop...Finished second on the with a .287 overall batting average… Led the Niners with 22 extra-base hits (10 doubles, five triples, seven home runs) … Also tallied a team-high .548 slugging percentage and five triples.... Ranked second on team in hits (45), home runs (7) and runs scored (27) … Her 7 home runs rank third best in program history for a freshman…Was third on the team in RBI (26), doubles (10) and on-base percentage (.327)…. Had a team-high 14 multi-hit games, including a 3-for-3 performance against Furman with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs scored in a 6-2 win.
Prep: Pace was a three time All-American, All-Region, All-State, All-Conference, and All-Countyselection in softball at North Davidson High School in Winston-Salem...Pace was named as the CPC Player of the Year as well as the Davidson County Player of the Year...Also played for the Carolina Cardinals 18-under travel team...Won ASA National Championship...Off the field she is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spirit Club and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was in the top precentage of her class academically.
