BALTIMORE, Md.—Six incoming Blue Devils took part in the 2019 Under Armour All-America lacrosse game this past weekend at Johns Hopkins University. Split between a North and South squad, the North rallied from a four-goal halftime deficit to win 24-22.

The future Blue Devils selected to play were Kenny Brower, Jake Caputo, Connor Drake, Will Frisoli, Cam Henry and Dyson Williams. Caputo, Henry and Williams represented on the South team, while the other three helped lead North to the victory.

Williams, Caputo and Henry, all three starters, each had solid outings. Caputo led all South scorers with five points from two goals and three assists, while Williamson threw in two goals and an assist for three points. Defenseman Cam Henry picked up two ground balls.

On the North side, Drake had a goal and an assist, while Frisoli had a goal and a game-high seven ground balls.

With the North leading 20-19 late in the third quarter, Caputo found Williams to tie it at 20 apiece. Caputo and Williams both provided assists in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to capture the victory.

All six will enroll at Duke in August. Caputo joins his brother, Owen Caputo who will be a sophomore. The group hails from five different states, ranging from Tennessee to Connecticut. Williams will join Cameron Badour as the second Blue Devil coming from Canada.

The 2019 Blue Devils finished 13-5 and advanced to the NCAA semifinals before falling to eventual national champion Virginia in double overtime.
