Chelsea Gray Aims for 2020 Olympics
Chelsea Gray’s career was almost halted by a knee injury her junior year at Duke. She went on to be drafted, but did not play her first season in the WNBA. But now as a three-time WNBA All-Star, Gray is focusing on her next career goal: The 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Gray is part of the 2019-2020 USA Basketball’s Women’s National Team player pool, and will soon take part in an eight player training program in hopes to make the Olympic Team.
📖 After injuries, @WNBA Finals and other timing conflicts kept her out of past USA Basketball trials & training camps, Chelsea Gray is committed and ready to make her mark during the expanded #USABWNT training program. @cgray209 @LA_Sparks— USA Basketball (@usabasketball) August 28, 2019
