Stevens, McGuire Pace the Blue Devil Offense
The duo of senior Ella Stevens and sophomore Marykate McGuire have paced the Blue Devil offense this season, combining for four of Duke’s five goals this season, while leading the team with two goals apiece.

After only registering one goal last season, Stevens has gotten off to an impressive start in her final campaign. The senior has scored the game-winning goal in the season opener against La Salle, before heading in the go-ahead goal in the most recent matchup versus then-No. 19 Santa Clara.

Likewise, McGuire has began her second year with the Blue Devils in fantastic fashion, headlining the Duke offensive attack. The sophomore scored the put-away goal in the first game of the season to seal the 2-0 victory over La Salle, before registering the golden goal versus No. 19 Santa Clara this past weekend. McGuire leads the team in shot attempts with 11, while also ranking first in shots on goal with five. She has added one assist to her totals.
